    • Day 1: San José del Cabo to Todos Santos - Arrival

      Bienvenidos a Mexico! Touch down at the airport in San José del Cabo, then ride to Todos Santos, one of Mexico's pueblos magicos, nestled between desert and sea. Check into your home base for the next few days - Hotel San Cristóbal, a tranquil, yet funky retreat, where the soundtrack is waves crashing on shore.

    • Day 2: Todos Santos - Snorkeling with sea lions & sailing to Balandra Beach

      This morning, head east for an unforgettable day at sea. Set sail in the Sea of Cortez, where you'll snorkel and swim alongside playful and curious sea lions, and a plethora of other undersea wildlife. After your swim, bask in the sun on Balandra Beach, one of Mexico's most pristine and secluded beaches, framed by dramatic cliffs and turquoise waves.

    • Day 3: Todos Santos - Sun & sand in Todos Santos

      Today is yours to do whatever you wish! Perhaps you'll begin with a slow morning, sipping coffee while you watch the waves, then wander the cobblestone streets on your way to pay a visit to the iconic Hotel California. Spend your afternoon seaside, with your toes in the sand, then watch a stunning Pacific sunset, while you sip artisan mezcal from the comfort of your private plunge pool.

    • Day 4: Todos Santos to Cabo San Lucas - The lap of luxury at Esperanza Auberge

      After a laid back morning at Hotel San Cristóbal, you're off to Esperanza Auberge, on coast of Los Cabos, for a luxurious escape into paradise.

    • Day 5: Cabo San Lucas - R&R & the ultimate wellness spa journey

      This morning, choose from Esperenza's signature collection of wellness journeys inspired by ancient healing practices and the natural elements of Baja. Each journey includes a selection of spa treatments: facials, massage, body wraps and more. After you've fully embraced relaxation on your spa journey, indulge in a seasonally-inspired lunch at the oceanfront Cocina del Mar.

    • Day 6: Cabo San Lucas - Beach time & tequila tasting

      Today, gear down into the ultimate vacation mode. Begin your morning with an invigorating yoga session overlooking the Pacific Ocean, or if it's more your speed, order breakfast in bed. This evening, take a sensory journey through the rich flavors of Mexico's most iconic spirits - tequila and mezcal. Learn about the history, production and cultural traditions of both spirits, as you sample varieties ranging from the smooth, citrusy notes of highland tequilas to the smoky, earthy profiles of artisanal mezcals.

    • Day 7: Cabo San Lucas - A romantic beach BBQ at sunset

    • Day 8: Cabo San Lucas to San José del Cabo - Departure

    Know Before You Go

    • Itinerary prices are dependent on season of departure. Christmas, New Years and Easter (Semana Santa) are peak season, and prices during these periods are significantlky higher than other times of year. High season runs from November through April, and green season from May through September.
    • Arrival: hotel check-in times are at 3:00pm, but you may arrive at any time during the day. If you arrive prior to the scheduled check-in time, we will arrange for early check-in wherever possible.
    • Departure: hotel check-out times are at 9:00am. International flights on your departure day should be arranged to depart after 1:30pm.
    • All prices in USD.
    • For vaccination recommendations, please visit the CDC website.
    • For American, Canadian, and British citizens, a valid passport with 6+ months remaining is required for entry to Mexico.
    • Debit cards may not work in Central America, but most establishments accept major credit cards.
    • Please ensure you have immediate access to a minimum of USD $250 as an emergency fund to be used if circumstances outside our control (e.g. a natural disaster) require changes to your planned route.
    • It is customary to tip service providers (waiters) around 10-20% depending on service. Tipping taxi drivers is not required unless they assist with your luggage, in which case 10 pesos per suitcase is a rule of thumb.
    • Gratuities for guides and drivers are deeply appreciated, and provide an important supplement to their income. If you are pleased with the tour services you've received, a guideline for tipping in Central America is USD $8-10 per person per day for multiple-day tours, or USD $5-10 per person for day tours.

    Getting There

    From North America: several airlines offer direct and connecting flights to Mexico's several international airports. For most of our itineraries, travelers most frequently fly into or out of: Cancún International Airport (airport code: CUN), Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH), Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), Mexico City's Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez (MEX) and Lic. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta. Including connection time, flights from the USA typically range from 2-9 hours in duration, while most flights from Canada range from 5-15 hours in duration.

    From the UK: British Airways flies direct to Mexico City and Cancún, but there are also several flight options connecting in the United States and/or Canada. Including connection time, flights from the UK typically range from 11-18 hours in duration.
