Day 1: Panama City to Isla Palenque - Arrival
Arrive to Central America’s answer to New York – the stunningly modern seaside metropolis of Panama City. When you land, take a quick puddle jumper flight up to David, where you'll meet a driver to take you to the luxurious island retreat you'll call home for the next four nights.

Day 2: Isla Palenque - Where jungle meets beach
Gear down into vacation mode, with a first day spent swinging in a hammock, or paddling the warm waters along the island's many hidden coasts and coves. If adventure calls and you want to explore, take a guided hike along rainforest trails that progress from the beauty of old-growth jungle to sprawling, palm-fringed beaches as you learn about the flora, fauna and ecology of this wild island.

Day 3: Isla Palenque - Island hopping in the Gulf of Chiriqui
Today, set sail to explore Chiriqui’s stunning islets on an island hopping adventure with iconic crescent moon beaches, swaying palm trees, vibrant coral reefs and gentle seas perfect for snorkeling. Nosh on a delightful picnic basket of refreshments, as you swim and snorkel at leisure in the warm waters of your own private island.

Day 4: Isla Palenque - Explore the island via kayak; dine on the beach by candlelight
After a hearty breakfast, jump in a kayak and paddle out to the island’s mangrove-lined northeast coast. Paddling through the mangroves and along rocky coastline, explore this enigmatic ecosystem where rainforest meets ocean, and learn about its importance for marine life from your naturalist guide. Then, find yourself at one of Isla Palenque’s most enchanting natural attractions – a shallow sand-bottomed cave, home to a tiny species of insectivorous bat – before making your way back to the lodge.
Dinner tonight will be unforgettable. At a private table for two on the beach, you’ll dine by candlelight as the sun dips below the horizon and the stars come out above you. -
Day 5: Isla Palenque to Bocas del Toro - Trade the Pacific for the Caribbean
After breakfast, depart Isla Palenque and take a private transfer through Chiriquí’s lush green rolling hills to the airport in David. Board a flight to take you east to Bocas del Toro, a stunning archipelago on Panama's north Caribbean coast. Check into your luxe overwater villa - complete with plunge pool - at the breathtaking Nayara Bocas, and settle in for four days of Caribbean bliss.

Days 6 & 7: Bocas del Toro - Refresh & recharge surrounded by calm, turquoise seas
Spend your days at Nayara Bocas settling into vacation mode and enjoying the many amenities Nayara Bocas has to offer. Day 8: Bocas del Toro to Panama City - Sunset views in Panama's Old Town
Enjoy a leisurely morning and final walk along the beach before you depart Bocas del Toro and board an hour-long flight to Panama City. You'll be met by a driver to whisk you away to the American Trade Hotel, a luxurious oasis in the heart of the city's colonial Casco Viejo neighborhood. Settle in for some rest and relaxation after a long travel day, or get out to explore Casco Viejo’s charming cobblestone streets on foot.

Day 9: Panama City - Departure
Feeling fully refreshed and revived, bid farewell to the city, with a quick transfer to the airport to catch your international flight home. Adios!
