With proposals, there are no limitations. It can be as extravagant as you'd like it to be - think, live music and a picnic setup on the beach, bringing your partner's favorite movie to life, dropping to one knee at a private jungle waterfall, a serenade & horse carriage ride in a colonial city. You already have a lot on your plate while you're getting ready to propose - keeping the secret is tough enough! While the internet is a great resource for engagement ideas, ROAM offers more than that. We'll discuss your vision, run errands, find the right locations and the right vendors, and make sure no detail has been forgotten.

All you'll need to do is sit back, relax and embrace this incredible moment with your partner. Don't worry about a thing - we'll be working hard behind the scenes to ensure everything goes off without a hitch.

Our top tips? First, make sure you plan before you depart - you want to be able to enjoy your vacation, not spend the time leading up to your proposal stressing about how and where and when you're going to pop the question.

Secondly, we recommend putting some consideration into how you're going to transport your ring, not only across the border (carry-on is preferred), but also how you're going to get it to your proposal destination unnoticed.

Busy professionals, people planning a destination proposal from half a world away, and people with no idea where to start the planning process! Someone who wants to fully enjoy their experience and allows the planner to handle the logistics of the day!

We specialize in travel to Central and South America’s most romantic and beautiful locations. That means that even if you're not sure what destination is perfect for your proposal, we can help.

Many couples regret not hiring a professional photographer for their proposal. While you can capture the moment with an iPhone, you miss out on the opportunity to have a photographer with the eye for detail and experience shooting unique and celebratory moments like this.

A professional photographer is not necessary, but it is an option available for most of our packages.

The process begins with a questionnaire to fully get to know you, your partner and your vision. We begin with a complimentary consultation to discuss your budget, our services and a few other minor details. If ROAM is the planner for you and you decide to move forward, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the process. While working together we will communicate through email to discuss location, photographer, design and aesthetics, and the overall flow of the day. We will send you a detailed timeline and any other details you might need, well in advance of the day.

We request a minimum of one month's notice. For couples that are planning a full itinerary, we typically require 3-6 months' notice to ensure that your locations of choice are available.

How It Works

Step 1: Share Your Vision

We want to get to know you and your partner better! We'll start with a phone consultation to discuss your vision & budget, then you'll fill out a short questionnaire to get into detail, and help ensure that the moment is deeply meaningful & memorable to both of you.

Step 2: We Plan, You Approve It

Here's where we take your vision and turn it into a tangible plan. We take all of your ideas, and ours, and put together a draft blueprint, including the venue, décor and day-of itinerary. We work with you to refine the blueprint until you're completely happy with the plan.

Step 3: You Pop the Question

We work behind the scenes getting everything ready as your date approaches. A few days prior, we walk you through a detailed itinerary, and finally, on the day of, we coordinate and execute every detail so you can focus solely on delivering your perfect proposal!
