Touch down in bustling Belize City and board a quick 30-minute flight down the coast to Placencia. Check in to the beautiful Naia Resort & Spa and spend the afternoon getting acquainted with one of Belize's prettiest stretches of beach.

    • Day 2: Placencia - Snorkel Silk Caye & Turtle Alley

This morning, set off aboard a boat bound for the Barrier Reef, whose surrounding waters contain some of the most varied and abundant marine life on the planet. Snorkel through clear waters among delicate sea fans, colorful tropical fish and impressive corals, then head to a shallower patch reef for an up close and personal encounter with sea turtles and rays.

    • Day 3: Placencia - Jungle waterfalls & exotic wildlife

Today, head inland to explore the world's only jaguar preserve - the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Hike through thick rainforest to a rushing waterfall and take a dip to beat the tropical heat. Though chances of spotting a jaguar are low, your naturalist guide will point out signs of recent jaguar activity, and spot other rainforest residents as you hike - jaguarundi, margays, ocelots, deer, howler monkeys and a vast diversity of bird life.

    • Day 4: Placencia - Reset & recharge in paradise

Today is an opportunity to hit the reset button. Gear down into vacation mode, take a kayak or paddle board out for a spin, or schedule a visit to Naia's award-winning spa for a little extra pampering. After a relaxing day, meet for dinner on the beach at a private candlelit table for two.

    • Day 5: Placencia to Ambergris Caye - Head north to the cayes

Fly to Belize City this morning, then on to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. Check into Matachica Resort before noon and set out on a romantic adventure, heading to Mexico Rocks just before sunset for a different take on a traditional snorkeling experience.

    • Days 6 & 7: Ambergris Caye - Kayaking & snorkeling in pristine ocean paradise

Your days at Matachica are yours to spend as you wish. Pay a visit to Matachica’s superb Jade Spa, catch some rays poolside, or snorkel, kayak, and swim in the perfectly calm waters of the Caribbean. If you’re craving a little more excitement, take a water taxi to nearby Caye Caulker, or take bicycles into San Pedro town to get a taste of local Belizean fare. Conch fritters are a must.

    • Day 8: Ambergris Caye - Shark Ray Alley & dinner by candlelight

Today, explore and experience the wonders of Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley, where stingrays and harmless nurse sharks will thrill and delight. For dinner on your final night, walk down to a torch-lit pier that extends into the water, where a candlelit table set for two awaits you.
