    • Day 1: Managua to Granada - Journey back in time to colonial Granada

After your arrival to Managua’s Augusto C. Sandino International Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and whisked away half an hour's drive to the south to the colonial city of Granada. Check into your spacious, luxuriously-appointed room at Hotel Plaza Colón for the evening and then get out and explore! There is lots to take in in Granada – cobblestone streets, a thriving culinary scene, and a lively town center, lined with whimsical market stalls and colorful cafes.

    • Day 2: Granada to the Pearl Cays - Helicopter ride & exclusive island hideaway

Today, you'll walk in the footsteps of Granada's colonial past, riding in a horse-drawn carriage, exploring the convent and church of San Francisco, which dates back to the 16th century, and climbing the bell tower of Merced for an awe-inspiring panoramic vista of the city, Lake Nicaragua, and the looming silhouette of Mombacho, ever present on the horizon.

Then, take off in a private helicopter flight over expansive, rugged jungles and pristine blue waters. Arrive to the ultra-luxe Calala Island where warm, friendly staff will greet you with a tasty tropical cocktail and cool towel and lead you along a jungle-shrouded pathway to your private villa.

    • Day 3: the Pearl Cays - Beachfront rest, relaxation & a culinary exploration of Nicaragua

Spend a day getting fully acquainted with the unrelenting beauty of this untouched Caribbean paradise, and discover Calala Island’s own brand of laid-back, secluded luxury – top-notch customer service, unparalleled dining, and no shortage of breathtaking views in every direction. Relax in a hammock beneath massive coconut palms as they sway in gentle tropical breezes, dancing along to the rhythm of the crashing surf, or spend the day soaking in the sun in the beachfront infinity pool, cocktail in hand.

In the afternoon, take part in a culinary masterclass with the island’s resident chef and creative food genius, Lorne Emerson. Then, after dinner, enjoy a tasting of some of Nicaragua’s finest exports – cigars and rum. This is the life!

    • Day 4: the Pearl Cays - Kayaking & a romantic champagne picnic

Today, set out and explore the island surrounds by kayak, and then, take a trip across to Little Calala Island for a romantic picnic spread - complete with champagne - as the sun dips toward the horizon, and begins to paint the sky in technicolor.

    • Day 5: the Pearl Cays - Deserted island hopping

After a leisurely breakfast, make your way out to explore the rest of the dazzling string of tiny Caribbean islands in the Pearl Cays. These snow-white, palm-shaded, turquoise-fringed beaches are some of the best in all of Nicaragua, and certainly the most pristine. Stop along the way to don a snorkel and discover the undersea gems that hide below the waves - brightly colored tropical fish, lobsters, sea turtles and more.

    • Day 6: the Pearl Cays - A modern day Eden

Today is yours to spend how you wish. Catch some rays poolside, paddle board around the island, or set off on a fishing trip to land a Caribbean catch of the day. The island is yours to do as you please.

    • Day 7: the Pearl Cays - Time to unwind

Enjoy one final incredible day of relaxation - mimosas for breakfast, a hand-in-hand stroll down the beach, and a couples' massage in a private pavilion, surrounded by mangroves. Dinner tonight will be unforgettable. Dig your toes into the sand at a private beachfront table for two, and dine on a bespoke menu of fresh-off-the-line-seafood as night falls and the stars appear above you.

    • Day 8: the Pearl Cays - Farewall to paradise

Set out from Calala Island on a short boat ride to Bluefields, where you will climb aboard a quick puddle-jumper flight back to Managua, and depart on your international flight home. Buen viaje!
