Day 1: San José - Arrival

Day 2: San José to Arenal - Hanging bridges: a bird's eye view
Ride to La Fortuna where your journey continues in the shadow of the magnificent Arenal Volcano. Take a walk along rainforest trails and traverse bridges at treetop height with a naturalist guide to discover the area’s unique ecosystem, spot exotic jungle wildlife, and admire panoramic volcano views.
Day 3: Arenal - Sunrise volcano views by hot air balloon
Rise before the dawn for an unforgettable experience cruising the skies above rainforest, pineapple plantations and volcanoes. Watch the sky turn pink and the sun appear on the horizon, then spend the afternoon relaxing beside your private plunge pool.
Day 4: Arenal to the Pacuare Gorge - Whitewater rafting in the rainforest

Day 5: Pacuare Gorge - Birdwatching, indigenous hike & romantic lunch in the treetops
Take advantage of the early morning hours with a guided nature walk filled with hummingbirds and butterflies - it's one of the most active times in the jungle! Lunch with a bird's eye view in "The Nest", then, hike meet the son of a local shaman to learn about the culture and customs of the Cabecar Indians.
Day 6: Pacuare Gorge to the Osa Peninsula - Where jungle meets sea
Fly to the Osa Peninsula, where National Geographic calls "the most biologically intense place on earth". Check into Lapa Rios before lunch, then take a leisurely hike down to the beach to get familiar with your breathtaking surroundings.
Days 7 to 9: Osa Peninsula - Where jaguars & tapirs roam
Spend your days on the Osa Peninsula making the most of Lapa Rios' ample amenities. Hike jungle trails with naturalist guides, discover hidden waterfalls and deserted beaches, watch toucans, monkeys and sloths in the treetops around you, lay out beside your private plunge pool and relax.
Day 10: Osa Peninsula to San José - Departure
This morning, a private car will take you to the Puerto Jiménez airport, then fly to San José for your onward travels. So long!
